You are encouraged to submit papers in all areas of accounting, Banking control and supervision, finance, management, financial economics, Internet and new economy : corporate finance, accounting and auditing, financial markets, investment and financing problems, emerging markets, derivatives, real options, portfolio theory, macro-economics and finance, international finance, international trade, techniques in international trade, solidarity funds and international taxation, mathematical finance, econometric issues, statistics, Internet banking, finance and the new economy, financial liberalization and innovation, transition economies and their problems, open economic issues, foreign direct and portfolio investment, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, information technology, etc.
Any paper on the theory or applications of options, derivatives and real options is welcome. Possible topics include include competition and strategic options, R&D and innovation, new product development, capabilities, infrastructure and network investments, valuation of natural resources, commodities and power investments, growth options, corporate valuation and IPOs, investments involving learning, agency issues and incentives, environmental protection and public policy, case studies, venture capital, entrepreneurial finance, insurance, etc. We expect to have sessions on telecoms, pharmaceuticals, oil/energy, and the environment/public policy.
Submission : Please submit your paper at Mondher.bellalah@eco.u-cergy.fr and submit a (nearly) completed paper or detailed abstract by 1st November 2006.
Electronic submission is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory. Deadline :
The deadline for papers, abstracts and proposals is 1 st November 2006. Authors will be notified as soon as the committee reaches a decision.
REVIEW & PUBLICATION :
Submitted papers will be reviewed by a committee headed by Professors Mondher Bellalah (ISC Paris), Michael Brennan (UCLA), Robert McDonald (Northwestern U.), Gordon Sick (U. Calgary), Pariente Georges (ISC Paris), Prigent Jean-Luc (U. Cergy) and Scientific Committee Members. In addition, the best submitted papers may be considered for publication, after a standard review process.
